A 2 player game where nobody waits their turn
Most two-player browser games make one person watch while the other plays. This one runs both jobs at once: while your opponent hunts for the word you picked, you are racing to fill your own grid with it.

First time? How to Play
Already picked one for you — change it if you like.
Simultaneous, not alternating
The round structure looks turn-based — you choose, they find, roles swap — but the interesting part is that both halves happen at the same time. The chooser's fill window opens the instant the word is locked in and closes the instant the finder taps it. Your score is literally made out of your opponent's hesitation.
That is why there is no timer on searching. The pressure is another person, and it is a lot more motivating than a bar draining on screen.
Keeping it fair
- Both players see the same pool, from the same seed. No easier board.
- The room decides whose turn it is and whether a word was really found — not your browser.
- Turn order alternates every round, so the first-mover advantage evens out.
- If a chooser stalls past the timer, the room picks a word for them and play continues.
Two devices, one room
Because the chooser and finder are doing different things, each player needs their own screen. Any two modern browsers will do — the room link is the only setup step, and either player can leave and come back mid-match without the game being lost.
How to play
Choose → Find → Fill → Switch → Repeat. Fill your grid to take the round; win the rounds to take the match.
Choose
On your turn, pick any item from the scattered pool — a word, a number or a letter. You have 30 seconds.
Find
Your opponent has to spot that exact item among all the others and tap it.
Fill
While they search, you tap cells on your own grid. Every tap fills one X.
Switch
The moment they find it, your fill window closes and the roles swap.
Common questions
- What makes a good two player browser game?
- Both players need something to do at the same time. In this game the chooser is filling a grid during the exact seconds the finder is searching, so neither player is ever sitting still waiting for a turn.
- Is it turn based or real time?
- Both. Roles alternate like a turn-based game, but inside each round the two players act simultaneously and are directly racing each other.
- How many players can join a room?
- Exactly two. It is designed as a duel, not a party game.
